Valentine's Day is nearly here. The day marks the season—the season of love, romance, and affection. You need not limit your celebration of the life and love that you share with your special someone to a day. You can extend to an entire week or a weekend if the latter is too much.

4. Savannah, Georgia
There are many similarities between Savannah and the aforementioned Charleston. Both were once the commercial, industrial, and social centers of the south, and they still carry that tinge of old world romance and grandeur. Savannah is well-known for its many cobble stoned streets and pre-modern houses. Savannah, like Charleston, has some of the best beaches in the country; and although it is not quite the season for swimming enjoying a candlelit dinner on one of its beautiful waterfronts will make the weekend special.
